Activities
Thane Scuba Diving Club is always available for services to the Police, Fire Brigade and respected citizens for any help
in the deep waters (except drainage systems).
Since 1989, as a "Social Responsibility", we are providing services as "Life Guards" at the time of Ganapati and Durga
immersions (local festivals) and are proud to say that till now we have saved more than 60 lives while risking our own
lives.
We have plans to expand the scuba diving base in India by opening Scuba Diving Centres on all coastal lines.
Our Continual Support to the Nation . . . . . .
Club is in tie-up with Uttarakhand Police, to train police divers through Cliff Climbers of Dehradun.
We have conducted 1st batch in Jan 2009 of 8 police divers and 2nd batch in June 2009 of 18
