ACUC Open Water Diver
Start your underwater adventure
The ACUC Open Water Diver scuba course will open the door to another part of the world, which, although very
near to you, is almost unknown.... THE SEA.
All you need is to know swim. There is no need to be a great swimmer.
ACUC Instructor will train you in diving theory, physics, physiology, decompression tables, buoyancy control, basic
self-rescue ---> you will enjoy fun in learning & practicing in pool & in sea / lake under the professional ACUC
instructor supervision.
At the end, you will be awarded with the ACUC certification and will open doors to ACUC Advanced Diver Certification.

Introduction
The ACUC Open Water Diver Course is the First Mandatory Diver Level within the ACUC training ladder.
The students that successfully complete the course, will be able to dive, without supervision, accompanied by divers of
any level, to the maximum allowable depth for Recreational Scuba Diving of 40 meters (130 feet).
Competencies of a certified, recreational ACUC Open Water Diver
An ACUC Open Water diver shall be trained to have sufficient competencies by knowledge, skill and experience to dive
in open water with other scuba divers of any level.
ACUC Open Water Divers shall dive to a maximum depth of 40 meters / 130 feet (maximum of 25 meters / 80 feet until
the diver has gained experience - 20 dives - 10 hours bottom time - or take the Deep Diving ACUC specialty)
Prerequisites for Training
You should be minimum 12 years of age.
As per local legal requirements, fill up the medical declaration form and get the same signed by the medical
professional.
Know how to swim.
Training Fees
Indian Rupees 18000/-. Equipment will be provided by us with no rental. You have to bring only swimming costume,
towel. Fees covers ACUC Open Water Diver Manual + Certification + ACUC sticker + Diver Passport.
