Start Instructor Career

After your ACUC Rescue Diver Certification, you have 2 choices: take ACUC Specialities Line or go for ACUC
Professional Line. Please see ACUC Divemaster Standards.

If you decide to go for Professional Line, the first level is the Divemaster. You must be previous certified for specialities
of ACUC First Aid Provider & ACUC Emergency Oxygen Provider or do these courses while doing ACUC Divemaster
Course.

The ACUC Divemaster Certification has a high technical & practical content and includes practical knowledge, skills:

--> Advanced Diving Theory
--> Group Control Techniques, in water and on surface
--> Teaching Techniques
--> Advanced Rescue Techniques
--> Pool training sessions
--> Emergency Situations handling practices

After completion of ACUC Divemaster, you will be able to guide & supervise certified divers & assist instructors in
training new divers. You will be able to teach Introduction to Diving (a non-certification course) and you will be able to
train & certify some dry specialities like First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, Surface Controller, etc.

Introduction

The ACUC Divemaster Course is the First Mandatory Professional Level within the ACUC training ladder.
The students that successfully complete the course, will be able to act as a Dive Controller, lead certified divers in open
water dives as a Dive Guide, assist in the training of new divers, teach some non-certification ACUC Scuba courses and
also, teach, evaluate and certify some “dry” specialties (specialties where no water training is involved) as long as the
Divemaster holds the corresponding Specialty Instructor rating.

Prerequisites for Training

You should be minimum 18 years of age.

As per local legal requirements, fill up the medical declaration form and get the same signed by the medical
professional.

Previous Certification

ACUC Rescue Diver or Advanced Diver with the Rescue Specialty or similar, with at least 21 hours bottom time
experience. Also, must have, or alternatively, do during the Divemaster course, the specialties of ACUC First Aid
Provider and Oxygen Administration Provider. For the purpose of this standard, it is assumed that the candidates
already have these specialties.

Training Fees

Indian Rupees 20000/-. Equipment will be provided by us with no rental. You have to bring only swimming costume,
towel. Fees covers ACUC Divemaster Course + Certification + ACUC sticker + Diver Passport.

For ACUC Open Water Diver + ACUC Advanced Diver + ACUC Rescue Diver + ACUC First Aid Provider + ACUC Oxygen
Provider + ACUC Divemaster, the fees will be Indian Rupees 63000/-.
