ACUC Advanced Diver

The ACUC Advanced Diver understands the basic concepts of general equipment maintenance, surface air
consumption, reduced visibility, diving in confined spaces and underwater navigation and has had an introduction into
various Diving Specialities. Please see ACUC Advanced Diver Standards.
On successful completion, you will be awarded the ACUC Advanced Diver Certification and will open doors to other
ACUC speciality courses.
Introduction
The ACUC Advanced Diver Course is the Second Mandatory Diver Level within the ACUC training ladder.
This course reviews and expands on matters already learnt in previous courses and will introduce to the speciality
courses but will not get certification for these speciality courses.
Competencies of a certified, recreational ACUC Advanced Diver
In addition to the competencies of an ACUC Open Water Diver, an ACUC Advanced Diver shall be trained to have
sufficient competencies by knowledge, skill and experience to dive in open water with other scuba divers of any level.
ACUC Advanced Divers shall dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres / 130 feet
Prerequisites for Training
You should be minimum 12 years of age.
As per local legal requirements, fill up the medical declaration form and get the same signed by the medical
professional.
Previous certification
ACUC Open Water Diver or similar with at least 2 hours bottom time experience.
Training Fees
Indian Rupees 12000/-. Equipment will be provided by us with no rental. You have to bring only swimming costume,
towel. Fees covers ACUC Advanced Diver Manual + Certification + ACUC sticker + Diver Passport.
For ACUC Open Water Diver + ACUC Advanced Diver, the fees will be Indian Rupees 28000/-.
